Role : Java Spring Boot Developer

Are you a skilled Spring Boot Developer who loves to use this technology to create different pieces of enterprise software?

We are looking for a Spring Boot Developer who has knowledge on how to design and implement enterprise level microservices using the spring boot framework. You will need to be highly proficient in Java and understand the different components of the spring boot framework and where to use these. Furthermore, you will need to be an excellent communicator as you will spend a lot of time liaising and collaborating with fellow developers in your team.

Responsibilities :

– Designing and implementing microservices which use the spring boot framework.

– Working in compliance with the full Software Development Life Cycle.

– Connecting microservices to interact with databases.

– Understanding of how streaming technologies work such as Kafka.

– Identifying and finding solutions to bugs.

– Ensure you've written adequate test cases to verify design requirements are being met.

– Create well written documentation for the individual microservices.

– Collaborating with coworkers to facilitate the creation of large, complex developments, as required.

– Reformulating existing code to ensure adherence to stipulated guidelines.

– Ensuring that outputs are visually appealing, user-friendly, and engaging.

– Deploying developments and monitoring uptake by the target audience.

Requirements :

– Degree in software engineering, or similar.

– Advanced proficiency in Java.

– High level of knowledge of Spring boot framework.

– Experience in developing REST API.

– Capacity to use SQL with Postgres, CQL with Cassandra.

– Experience writing unit tests with Junit.

– Knowledge of markup languages such as JSON and YML.

– Experience with build tools like Maven is a plus.

– Experience with Hosting and deployment on Apache.

– Experience with Git repository management.

– Exposure to AWS services (IAM, EC2, S3 and Logs).

– Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
