Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Appium and Java for mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Execute and analyze automated tests, identifying defects and ensuring they are properly documented and tracked.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, design comprehensive test plans, and ensure test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback cycles.
• Perform regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in the automated test environment, providing timely resolutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile testing and automation tools.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, with a focus on mobile applications.
• Strong proficiency in Appium and JavaScript.
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Mocha, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Solid understanding of mobile application development and testing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
