About the Company

The Google Marketing Platform Specialist position plays a crucial role at XPON ensuring our clients’ success in adopting the Google Marketing Platform. The GMP Specialist plays a key role in modernising marketing and client experience through XPON’s partnership with Google and the delivery of digital marketing and maturity program – delivering best-in-class configuration and optimisation strategies for Search & Programmatic advertising. Xpon does not run or manage day-to-day media for our client, we enable the setup and optimisation of the platform, best practices and training, etc.

Essential Considerations

  • Prior experience of working across campaign planning, implementation, optimisation & reporting
  • Prior experience of Brand Awareness, Performance & Engagement campaigns
  • Excellent communication skills across clients & internal stakeholders
  • Flexible working hours with overlapping hours with AU timezone
  • Be able to join within 30 days of offer acceptance
  • Work remotely as a full-time independent contractor*

Key focus

  • Deliver GMP Platform Setup, Optimisation, Onboarding for our clients
  • Assisting the Global Delivery Team in Creating, Building & Setup Platform activities as per brief documentation and client expectations, as well as enabling clients to achieve their digital marketing goals and objectives through technology
  • Addressing client issues, concerns, or questions in a thoughtful & timely manner
  • Following Architectural guidelines & best practices for Platform Configuration (Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360, Campaign Manager 360 etc.)
  • Assisting in briefing, auditing & creating Campaign / Agency reporting needs via Looker Studio
  • Be able to work independently in a remote setting, collaborate with team and client stakeholders and be part of XPON team culture
  • Have a home office-style setup to be able to attend video calls and participate in virtual meetings and events
  • Be diligent in assessing tasks, executing as per brief, raising clarification questions & ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed through the process
  • Be open to learning and adapting to the pace of the evolving digital marketing ecosystem

Responsibilities

  • Managing delivery of the GMP section of the Roadmap for each client account in collaboration with the GMP Lead & Global Director
  • Work with the GMP Lead in capturing learnings from new tasks & tickets raised by clients to be shared across the team as steps or processes for future instances of similar tasks
  • Ensure all tasks & tickets are responded to or completed within agreed timelines and stakeholders communicated where there are issues or unforeseen delays
  • Working closely with other GMP Specialists, the GMP Lead on setup, onboarding, audit, documentation and optimisation recommendations of GMP accounts
  • Ensuring everything we do is helping maximise the efficiency of the platforms and providing agreed upon reports demonstrating efficiency and uplift
  • Poactively refresh their knowledge of GMP using extensive training and support provided by Google & wider XPON team

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience within Digital Marketing supporting Search & Programmatic
  • Experience In the GMP platform Display & Video 360 and Campaign Manager 360 is essential
  • Be familiar with digital campaign management including planning, setup & optimisation

Required Skills

  • Experience tracking, measuring, and analysing key account metrics such as customer conversion rates, impression share, account pacing, average order value, CPA/CPMs etc.
  • An understanding of digital marketing activation cross platforms, including Paid Search, Programmatic, Measurement, Reporting & key marketing principles
  • Autonomously manage task backlog and prioritisation of work with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot & problem solve complex issues with ad serving, reporting etc.
  • Good understanding of Google Analytics 4 & Tag Manager

Preferred Skills

It would also be a bonus if you were certified in Google Analytics IQ. However if you’re not, this is something we will help you attain.

Pay range and compensation package

* As a contractor you will be required to Invoice XPON Technologies and have the option of being paid in AUD or equivalent INR.
