Interior Designer – Commercial Projects

The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.

Responsibilities

• Design the office spaces as per set process
• Be part of sales meetings to win orders
• Lead the design process in coordination with customers
• Coordinate with MEP consultant on MEP and HVAC requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum – 2 year Diploma in Interior Designing / Architecture from a reputed Institution.
• Experience required in independently managing high-value projects in Commercial interiors like office space and retail outlets.
• Strong working knowledge of Sketchup, V-ray, SpaceCraft Pro is a must.
• Must have Site Experience (should be confident that proposed designs can be installed with minimum hassle at site).
• Must be customer-centric in providing solutions – proposed designs should be highly functional and great on aesthetics, still keeping in mind the customer’s budget.
• Exposure to commercial projects is mandatory.
• Google Sketchup software knowledge.
• Strong communication skills – Both verbal and written communication skills to be able to construct and defend ideas / designs / pricing. Communication in English mandatory and the local language is also desirable.
• Hybrid working model, Sunday week off.
